Hi everyone,

I haven’t posted because I moved. In 5 days I sold all my belongings (I donated most of them), including my car (Jeep) and left Lost Angeles and moved to Mississippi, with 2 small trunks, a garment bag and box of my book manuscripts and files. Yes, that’s right, this New Yorker > Angelino is now in Mississippi… (15 minutes south of Memphis, TN) thanks to Boneless Chuck, it’s true. I’m an Artist-in-Residence living in the home of a Boneless Chuck supporter and patron of my art! MIracles do happen And there are some amazing and unexpected opportunities being offered to me, which I’ll tell you in a future post. In five days I I “snuck” out of LA last Thurs at 1:30am on a 40 hour bus ride across the country. I’ll tell you all about that too in a few days. I have some work and feel like a new man; unstuck and facing new possibilities. I like LA and have nothing bad to say about it, but man it feels great to be gone after nearly 15 years.

This cartoon coincidentally mirrors my attempt to fit in – it isn’t easy. I used to wash, now I “worsh.” And I now shop for groceries at Walmart. No Trader Joes BUT I called the one yoga studio and found out there was a new store called Whole Foods that just opened, Yay! It feels good to post again, and be back in contact with my friends and colleagues in self-expression. I miss my wholesale, Russian-Armenian veggie market…but that’s about all I miss at the moment.
