I love this piece.  It is by Gustave Caillebotte simply entitled Les raboteurs de parquet (The Floor Scrapers), circa 1875.  I first saw a print of it in a friend’s dining room and have been somewhat obsessed with it ever since.  What a shitty job, but at the same time the feeling of the piece [...]
