What World Champion would you be?

Okay, Sports Fans, the clock is ticking down (or up if you’re playing soccer…)  Be it tennis, basketball, swimming, or curling, if you could be the World Champion in any one sport, which sport would it be?  PLAY BALL!

  1. Ice Dancing…which funnily enough seems about as impossible to me as creating world peace seems to others!

  2. wrestling. running all those stairs in silverlale would finally pay off.

  3. Baseball~

America’s pastime was magical for me as a child growing up. The sights, the sounds, the smells of a ball park no matter how small or grandiose still bring chills down my spine~

Induction into the Hall of Fame can transform the most feared and misunderstood athletes in the world back into tearful, grateful children.

    There’s magic between the lines~

    Play Ball!!

  4. Shoot, I can’t think of one. I have always admired runners, because I don’t have a runners body and have been traditionally better at things like softball and weights where you don’t have to move too fast for too long.

Honestly, if I have a fantasy about being admired for one thing I would want to be one of the great thinkers of our time — like Noam Chomsky or Naomi Klein.

  5. Hockey-hands down. Such an exciting sport to watch and I can even envision myself playing even though I’d never make that grade in this life.

On a more idealistic note-Christ:World Champion of Man over (D)evil.

  6. Well I really admire the “man on a wire”, and I’m not afraid of heights. Or maybe gymnast; always a thrill to watch the Olympic gymnasts and I was pretty good at that once upon a time, so it should be like riding a bike, right? (A. sorry, no) Speaking of bikes, now that’s a cool sport and Lance Armstrong’s a cool dude (although my wrist band was always, “Live Wrong”). Course, after seeing “The Triplets of Bellville”, my whole attitude towards the Tour de France got warped, so… don’t have an easy answer to this one.
