A creative blog by Heidi Huber on The Whole 9

Heidi Huber started her career with the sink or swim theory. Luckily she knows the freestyle which has taken her from the Chicago stage to behind the scenes in Los Angeles where she currently continues to tap as The Whole 9’s Chief of Everything Else.

Do you mind “getting old”?

“A day that will live in infamy…” this is what President Roosevelt said of this day, Pearl Harbor Day. I happen to share a birthday with this infamous date.

Other than not sleeping as soundly as I used to, I have no complaints about getting older.  The lines on my face don’t bother me. I have yet to see a gray hair (even when it’s months between touch up’s.)  It’s all good to me.  I’m 44 years young.

Do you mind “getting old”?

  1. i don’t really think about it. and my son keeps me young.

  2. - it is obviously inevitable

  3. 36 Today, liked it better than 26 or even 16. Getting old has some benefits.

  4. Happy birthday! Yes, I mind.

  5. Happy day to you! And I don’t mind; I still get told by people that I’m 12 years old, so one day that’s gotta pay off.

  6. I turned 30 this year, and it was a little traumatic as my mom’s been 29 as long as I’ve known her…I think she has a problem getting older. ;-) Something had to give, so we had a talk. She’s now 39. :-) Happy Birthday Heidi!

  7. A guy my mom used to take care of gave me good advice on this subject he said
” Don’t get Old ” and i must say it really does work : )

  8. Yes. Yes I do mind. But I’ll get over it. One day. Til then, time’ll have to drag me kickin and screamin.
